Studi Pemanfaatan RAP Dan Aspal Elvaloy Pada Campuran Laston AC-BC

ABSTRAK

Dalam meningkatkan kualitas jalan secara efektif, efisien, dan ekonomis dilakukan penelitian diantaranya dengan pemanfaatan RAP. KAA sesuai gradasi target adalah 5,5%, oleh karena itu dibuat benda uji dengan kadar aspal 4.5%, 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5%, dan 7% pada benda uji, maka diperoleh nilai KAO sebesar 6,1% yang hasil tersebut menjadi acuan untuk pembuatan benda uji selanjutnya. Pengujian untuk benda uji dengan campuran RAP sebanyak 5%, 7,5%, dan 10% dengan menggunakan KAO 6% diperoleh nilai VIM dan VMA campuran yang menggunakan agregat RAP 5% dan 7,5% cenderung menurun, bertambahnya kadar RAP memungkinkan agregat RAP mampu mengisi pori campuran serta rongga agregat pada campuran. Nilai stabilitas dengan menggunakan agregat RAP semakin meningkat. Meningkatnya nilai stabilitas dipengaruhi oleh nilai VIM dan VMA yang semakin kecil, tetapi agregat RAP 10% menunjukan nilai sebaliknya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan agregat RAP 7,5% menghasilkan campuran aspal beton terbaik.

ABSTRACT

In improving the quality of roads in an effective, efficient, and economical research including the use of RAP. KAA according gradation is the target of 5.5%, therefore, made the specimen with a bitumen content of 4,5%, 5%, 5,5%, 6%, 6,5%, and 7% in the test object, the obtained value KAO 6.1% the result is a reference for the preparation of the next test object. Testing for specimens with a mixture of RAP as much as 5%, 7,5%, and 10% by using KAO 6% VIM and VMA values obtained mixture using RAP aggregate 5% and 7,5% decline, increased levels of RAP allows aggregate RAP able to fill pores and cavities aggregate mixture in the mix. Value stability using RAP aggregate increase. Increasing the value of stability is affected by the value of VIM and VMA are getting smaller, but the aggregate 10% RAP showing the opposite value. These results indicate that the use of 7,5% RAP aggregate produce asphalt concrete mix best
