Pengaruh Perkuatan Sheetpile terhadap Deformasi Area Sekitar Timbunan pada Tanah Lunak Menggunakan Metode Partial Floating Sheetpile (PFS)

ABSTRAK

Konstruksi timbunan pada tanah lunak mengakibatkan penurunan, deformasi lateral, dan geseran tanah ke atas yang dapat terjadi pada area sekitar timbunan. Hal ini disebabkan karena tanah lunak memiliki kuat geser dan permeabilitas yang rendah serta kompresibilitas besar. Perkuatan sheetpile digunakan untuk membentuk ketidaksinambungan tegangan antara timbunan dan area sekitarnya sehingga dapat mengurangi permasalahan yang terjadi. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk membandingkan beberapa metode pemasangan sheetpile pada tanah lunak yaitu all bottom out (pemasangan semua sheetpile sampai tanah keras) dan partial floating sheetpile (pemasangan sheetpile dengan dengan sebagian mencapai tanah keras dan sebagian floating) dengan menggunakan program PLAXIS 3D. Sehingga hasil analisis dapat mengetahui besarnya penurunan dari berbagai metode pemasangan sheetpile yang telah dimodelkan.

ABSTRACT

The construction of embankment on a soft ground has involved a ground settlement, lateral deformation, and upheaval that occur to surrounding area. This is due to soft soils have low shear strength, low permeability and great compressibility. The sheetpile is used to form stress discontinuity between the embankment and the surrounding area so that its reduce the problem that occur. The purpose of this paper is to compare several methods of sheetpile installation on soft soil such as all bottom out (all sheetpile installation into bearing stratum), and partial floating sheetpile (installation of sheetpile with partially reaching bearing stratum and Partly floating) by using the PLAXIS 3D program. The results of the analysis is settlement of various methods of sheetpile installation that has been modeled.
