DRAINAGE PLANNING AND PUMP OPTIMIZATION IN THE SAYUNG INDUSTRIAL AREA, DEMAK REGENCY

ABSTRAK

Kawasan Industri Sayung sering mengalami genangan setinggi ±30 cm akibat topografi datar (0-2 mdpl) dan beban limpasan hulu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi sistem drainase eksisting dan menentukan kebutuhan optimalisasi pompa melalui analisis hidrologi Metode Rasional dan pemodelan hidrolika HEC-RAS 6.7. Hasil analisis curah hujan kala ulang 10 tahun menghasilkan intensitas 56,51 mm/jam dengan debit limpasan total hulu 0,98781 m³/det. Pada titik percabangan (*junction*), beban aliran ke Saluran Pantura Kiri disesuaikan menjadi 0,494 m³/det. Hasil pemodelan menunjukkan kapasitas efektif saluran hanya 0,33 m³/det, sehingga terdapat defisit kapasitas sebesar 0,164 m³/det. Optimalisasi difokuskan pada penambahan kapasitas pompa untuk menangani defisit tersebut guna mengendalikan genangan secara efektif.

ABSTRACT

The Sayung Industrial Area frequently experiences inundation of ±30 cm due to flat topography (0-2 masl) and upstream runoff. This study aims to evaluate the existing drainage system and determine pump optimization requirements using Rational Method hydrological analysis and HEC-RAS 6.7 hydraulic modeling. Analysis of 10-year return period rainfall resulted in an intensity of 56.51 mm/h with a total upstream design runoff of 0.98781 m³/s. At the junction, the flow load entering the Left Pantura Channel is adjusted to 0.494 m³/s. Modeling results indicate an effective channel capacity of only 0.33 m³/s, leading to a 0.164 m³/s flow deficit. Optimization focuses on increasing pump capacity to handle this deficit to effectively control inundation..
