Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Policy
To ensure academic integrity, transparency, confidentiality, and responsible scholarly publishing, the journal adopts the following policy on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted tools.
1. Authors
Authors may use AI tools for limited purposes, such as language editing, grammar checking, translation, and other technical assistance. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, validity, and integrity of their manuscripts. AI must not be used to fabricate data, results, references, or other research content. Any substantial use of AI in preparing a manuscript should be transparently disclosed. AI tools cannot be listed as authors or contributors.
2. Editorial Team
Editors may use AI tools only for limited administrative or technical purposes, such as checking formatting, language, or manuscript completeness. AI must not replace the editor’s professional judgment or be used as the sole basis for editorial decisions. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not upload unpublished manuscripts, reviewer reports, personal information, or other confidential materials to public AI systems.
3. Peer Reviewers
Peer reviewers are strictly prohibited from using AI tools to evaluate manuscripts, generate review comments, or formulate recommendations. Reviewers must not upload or disclose any part of a submitted manuscript to AI systems. All peer-review assessments must be based on the reviewer’s own expertise, independent judgment, and professional responsibility.
The use of AI must never compromise the principles of originality, confidentiality, accountability, and integrity in the scholarly publishing process.
