Tinjauan Desain Interior Hotel Stevie G Bandung Dengan Analisis Bahasa Estetika Posmodern

Hotel Stevie G yang berlokasi di jalan Sersan Bajuri Kabupaten Bandung Barat, adalah hotel dengan konsep desain interior yang berbeda secara signifikan dengan hotel lain khususnya di Bandung. Setiap kamar tamu (guest-room) di hotel ini tidak sama karena memiliki tema yang berbeda satu sama lain.  Hotel ini mengabadikan Steven Gerard,  nama kapten kesebelasan Liverpool FC yang terkenal sebagai nama hotel.  Untuk merepresentasikan Steven Gerrad dan Liverpool FC, salah satu kamar tamu hotel  diberi nama This is Anfield. Anfield adalah nama stadion Liverpool FC.  Tema kamar-kamar lain tidak berkaitan dengan dunia sepakbola tetapi dengan berbagai bagian dari budaya pop lainnya.

Penggunaan bahasa estetika Posmodern yaitu kitsch, pastiche, parody, dan schizoperenia sebagai alat analisis didasarkan pada prinsip Posmodern yang mengutamakan unsur keragaman (pluralisme) dan keragaman ini ada pada tema pada setiap kamar tamu. Secara keseluruhan pendekatan desain interior pada kamar tamu hotel Stevie G ini merupakan pendekatan Pop Art, sebagai bagian dari gaya desain Posmodern.

AbstraCT

Stevie G hotel located in Sersan Bajuri Street West Bandung is a hotel that has  interior design concepts that significantly differs with others hotel in Bandung area. Each guest room  of this hotel has different theme. This hotel perpetuated Steven Gerrard, the name of  the famous captain of Liverpool FC as its name. For represented Steven Gerrard and Liverpool FC, one of the guest-room named  This is Anfield. Anfield is a stadion of Liverpool FC. The theme of the other rooms are not related to the football world but from others part of pop culture.

The use of  aesthetic language of Postmodern that are kitsch, pastische, parody, and schizopherenia as analitycal tool based-on the principle of Postmodern that is prioritizes diversity (pluralism) and this diversity can be found in each guest-room. Over all, interior design approach to the Stevie G hotel guest-rooms is a an approach of Pop Art, that is a part of Posmodern design.
