Strategi Komunikasi dan Perancangan Media Informasi untuk Pertamina Maritime Training Center

Abstract


ABSTRAK
Sebagai salah satu lembaga bisnis PT Pertamina (Persero), Pertamina Maritime
Training Center (PMTC) membutuhkan suatu media yang dapat menjembatani
informasi antar lembaga dan individu atau target audiens. Komunikasi yang baik
menjadi hal yang penting jika informasi ingin tersampaikan dengan baik sehingga
mengurangi terjadinya kesalahan informasi yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk memperoleh data untuk perancangan poster Instagram yang
bertujuan agar target audiens PMTC dapat menerima dan memahami informasi
yang disampaikan dan berdampak pada berkurangnya pertanyaan berulang
mengenai suatu informasi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi
dan studi literatur pada analisis target audiens media sosial PMTC. Dalam
praktiknya, hasil perancangan poster ini dapat dijadikan sebagai media untuk
menyampaikan informasi sehingga mengurangi pertanyaan berulang dan
menciptakan komunikasi yang lebih baik antara PMTC dan target audiensnya.

ABSTRACT
As one of PT Pertamina’s business institutions, Pertamina Maritime Training Center
(PMTC) requires a media that can provide the information to their audience. Good
communication is one of important factors in delivering information that should be
conveyed properly to reduce the occurrence of misinformation. This study aims to
create a communication strategy where Instagram posters were created as the
media to support PMTC’s audience in receiving and understanding the information
that is given to them, and may reduce sort of repeated audience’s questions of
unclear information. Data were collected through observation and the review of
PMTC literature of social media in analyzing the audience. The results show that
Instagram poster design can be used as the media to communicate the information
that will reduce frequently asked questions and create a better communication
between PMTC and their audience.
