UKURAN JUMLAH PEMESANAN OPTIMAL KOMPONEN WEDGE DAN TAPER PADA MESIN BUBUT DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL Q (CONTINUOUS REVIEW METHOD)

Makalah ini membahas permasalahan yang terjadi pada PT TAKA Turbomachinery dimana mesin-mesin yang digunakan untuk melakukan proses perbaikan bekerja selama hampir 24 jam untuk memenuhi target. Diantara semua mesin, mesin bubut merupakan mesin yang mengalami beban kerja paling berat dan komponen yang sering mengalami kerusakan adalah wedge dan taper. Penggantian komponen yang rusak harus dilakukan secepat mungkin karena jika mesin berhenti maka akan berpotensi menambah kerugian. Pada saat ini bagian maintenance melakukan pemesanan komponen jika komponen mengalami kerusakan. Pemesanan komponen cukup memakan waktu yang lama karena komponen tersebut dipesan dari luar negeri. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengaplikasikan EOQ dengan model Q dengan menghasilkan jumlah pemesanan optimal kedua komponen sehingga dapat mengurangi biaya akibat keterlambatan datangnya komponen.

ABSTRACT

This paper discusses the problems that occurred in PT TAKA Turbomachinery where the machines are used to perform the repair process works for nearly 24 hours to reach the target. The lathe is a machine that has a heavy workload so sometimes the components often damaged as a component wedge and taper. Replacement of damaged components must be done as soon as possible because if the machine stops it will potentially increase the cost. Ordering of a components commonly do when the components are broken. Ordering parts takes quite a long time because the components ordered from abroad. This problem can be approximated by calculating the optimal order size of components with Q models so that if a component is always available, the replacement of the damaged engine components would not take a long time and can reduce the losses due to delay penalty.
