ANALISIS PENGARUH TINGKAT KANTUK TERHADAP KECEPATAN REAKSI MASINIS DAERAH OPERASI II BANDUNG

Direktorat Keselamatan Perkeretaapian mencatat pada tahun 2009 hingga tahun 2013 diperoleh  24.73% kecelakaan kereta disebabkan oleh human error. Salah satu bentuk human error yaitu keterlambatan merespon sinyal yang diakibatkan oleh kelelahan seperti perubahan pola tidur, shift kerja, dan kuantitas istirahat. Pada penelitian ini akan dibahas mengenai pengaruh tingkat kantuk terhadap kecepatan reaksi masinis. Tingkat kantuk dilihat secara objektif dari kecepatan reaksi dan secara subjektif dari Karolinska Sleepiness Scale dan Epworth Sleepiness Scale. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data didapatkan tingkat kantuk masinis meningkat saat sesudah dinasan dan kecepatan reaksi semakin lambat.

ABSTRACT

Directorate of Railway Safety based in 2009 to 2013 gained 24.73% train crash was caused by human error. One form of human error that the delay in responding to the signals caused by fatique induced changes in sleep patterns, shift work, and quantity rest. This will be discussed on the research about the influence of the reaction time against sleepiness level machinist. Levels of sleepiness were seen objectively from the reaction time and subjectively from the Karolinska Sleepiness Scale and Epworth Sleepiness Scale. Based on the results obtained by the data processing level increased when sleepiness level machinist after duties and reaction time is getting slower.
