Sosialisasi Peningkatan Pelayanan Prima di Desa Wisata Argapura – Majalengka Melalui Pendekatan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Area Wisata

 ABSTRAK 

Kecamatan Argapura – Majalengka mulai berkembang menjadi desa wisata yang menawarkan 17 wisata alam dan 3 wisata budaya yang tersebar di 14 desa. Wisata alam dikelola oleh penduduk setempat, sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat setempat. Selama menjalankan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa sosialisai pelayanan prima pada pengelola area wisata alam ini, ditemukan bahwa aspek kesehatan dan keselamatan belum terpenuhi untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan prima. Metoda Failure Mode and Effect Analysis digunakan untuk mendeteksi kegagalan dan efek kegagalan yang terjadi di area wisata air terjun, panorama, bumi perkemahan, dan kuliner. Walaupun tidak diperoleh data kejadian kecelakan, diidentifikasi terdapat beberapa area yang memiliki risiko tinggi, yaitu wisata air terjun dan panorama yang memiliki area ketinggian akibat rancangan sistem pengaman, dan aktivitas di air yang berpotensi kecelakaan dan kesehatan wisatawan akibat kondisi lingkungan (by nature). Sumber bahaya bukan hanya dari pihak pengelola, tetapi juga dari tindakan tidak aman (unsafe act) wisatawan. Berbagai keterbatasan pengelola dan kendala menyebabkan sulit untuk menerapkan standar kesehatan dan keselamatan. Kegiatan 5E (Education, Encouragement, Enforcement` Evaluation, dan Engineering) bagi pengelola dapat diterapkan melalui pendampingan oleh Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai bersama Itenas secara kontinyu dan komprehensif.

ABSTRACT 

The district of Argapura – Majalengka is now developing itself as a tourism-oriented village, offering 17 natural tourism objects and 3 culture tourism objects, spread across 14 villages. The natural tourism objects are run by locals to improve local economy. During community services in an effort to socialise optimum services to people who runs the tourism objects, it is found that health and safety aspect has yet to be fulfilled to offer optimum services. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis method is used to detect failure and its effect that occurred within the vicinity of waterfalls, panoramic viewing spots, campsites, and culinary spots. Despite the lack of data for incidents, it has been identified that there are several areas with high risk, which are waterfalls and panoramic viewing spots, with inadequate safety systems and potentially hazardous water activity, as well as health hazard by nature. Sources of hazard comes not only from the managerial parts, but also from unsafe act carried out by tourists and visitors. Numerous limitations from the managerial sector as well as several hurdles hindered the application of health and safety standard. 5E Activity which consists of Education, Encouragement, Enforcement, Evaluation and Engineering for managerial teams can be applied through the comprehensive support and continuous accompaniment from Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai together with Itenas.
