USULAN PERBAIKAN KUALITAS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIX SIGMA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PRODUK JAKET DI CV ASP

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi kerugian yang terjadi karena adanya produk cacat pada pembuatan produk jacket di CV. ASP dengan menerapkan metode Six Sigma Berdasarkan perhitungan terhadap data produk cacat, diketahui bahwa jenis protektor  tidak terpasang dan protektor tidak sesuai posisi merupakan jenis cacat dengan  jumlah tertinggi. Process Decision Program Chart (PDPC) digunakan sebagai alat analisa untuk melakukan identifikasi penyebab cacat dan usulan perbaikan. Berdasarkan analisa, ada 10 tindakan perbaikan yang diusulkan, namun hanya 4 usulan yang dapat diterapkan perusahaan, yaitu: inspeksi, penyediaan tempat jaket khusus dan bahan baku, serta pemberian tanda posisi protektor. Setelah dilakukan implementasi, diperoleh kenaikan nilai sigma  dari 3,384s menjadi 3,595σ.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to reduce the losses that occur due to a defective product in the manufacture of jacket production in CV. ASP with implementing Six Sigma method. Based on the calculation of the defective product data, the highest number of defects are the protector is not installed properly, and the protector positioned corretly. Process Decision Program Chart (PDPC) is used as an analytical tool for identifying the defective product and propose improvements. Based on the analysis, there are 10 proposed corrective actions, but only 4 proposals that can be applied to the company, namely: inspection , the provision of a special jacket and raw materials , as well as marking the position of protector. After implementation, there is increase in sigma value from 3.384σ to 3,595σ.
