Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengembangan model dari metode Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) yang memiliki kekurangan, karena mengasumsikan sistem produksi berjalan dengan sempurna dan produk yang dikirim pasti diterima. Berdasarkan kekurangan metode EPQ, penelitian ini melakukan pengembangan model yang membahas sistem produksi tidak sempurna akibat masalah deteriorasi dan kesalahan inspeksi sampling. Pada perhitungan dipertimbangkan biaya kegagalan internal dan biaya kegagalan eksternal yang merupakan bagian dari komponen biaya kualitas, dengan kriteria meminimisasi total biaya.

ABSTRACT

This research discuss about developing of a model from Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) method which has the shortage, because of assume the production system is running perfectly and products delivered definitely accepted. Based on the shortage of EPQ method, this research develops a model which discusses the imperfect production system due to the deterioration problems and the errors of sampling inspection. On the calculation consider the internal failure costs and external failure costs which are part of the quality component costs, with criteria minimizing total cost.
