Rancangan Perbaikan Alat Bantu Jalan Anak (Baby Walker) Menggunakan Metode Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (Triz)

Masa pertumbuhan adalah masa yang dialami setiap manusia. Terdapat beberapa tahapan yang dilalui oleh seorang anak ketika ada masa pertumbuhan. Tahapan yang mendapatkan perhatian lebih adalah ketika anak mulai belajar berjalan. Proses belajar berjalan yang biasa dilakukan pada saat ini adalah belajar berjalan dengan bantuan orang tua dan belajar berjalan menggunakan alat bantu yaitu baby walker. Baby walker akan menopang tubuh anak sehingga anak tidak perlu dipegangi. Orang tua menganggap alat bantu tersebut merupakan solusi terbaik untuk proses berjalan anak. Namun pada penggunaan baby walker terdapat beberapa masalah yang terjadi, diantaranya adalah tingginya tingkat kecelakaan dan terganggunya pertumbuhan fisik anak. Masalah yang terjadi adalah pertumbuhan yang kurang baik seperti mengalami cacat kaki yang membentuk huruf “O†dan cara jalan anak yang menggunakan ujung jari kaki atau disebut jinjit. Masalah tersebut terjadi akibat dimensi komponen pada baby walker yang sudah ada saat ini tidak sesuai. Metode Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) digunakan untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut. Proses pemecahan masalah melalui beberapa tahapan utama yaitu pembuatan situation model, membuat direction for innovation dan  menentukan inventive principles. Proses selanjutnya adalah perancangan produk dan seleksi konsep yang menghasilkan baby walker dengan rancangan khusus untuk mengatasi masalah yang terjadi.

ABSTRACT

The period of growth is a period experienced by every human being. There are several stages through which a child when there is a period of growth. Stages are getting more attention is when children begin to learn to walk. The process of learning to walk is usually done at the moment is learning to walk with the help of parents and learn to walk using the tools of the baby walker. Baby walker will support the body of the child so that the child does not need to be held. Parents assume the tool is the best solution for running child processes. However, the use of baby walkers there are some problems that occur, such as high levels of accidents and impaired physical growth of children. The problem that occurs is less well as the growth of disability legs form the letter "O" and the way the children who use the tip of your toes or called tiptoe. The problem occurs due to the dimensions of the components on the existing baby walker is not appropriate at this time. Methods Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) is used to solve the problem. The process of solving the problem through several major phases, namely the manufacture of situation models, making innovation and determine the direction for inventive principles. The next process is product design and selection of concepts that produce baby walker center designed to address the problems that occurred.
