USULAN PERBAIKAN KUALITAS PRODUK CELANA JEANS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE FAILURE MODE AND EFFECT ANALYSIS (FMEA) (STUDI KASUS DI CV. Garmen X)

Pada umumnya sebuah perusahaan industri celana jeans memiliki beberapa kendala dalam mengatasi produk cacat. Produk cacat yang terjadi, diantaranya cacat bahan, cacat pada saat proses menjahit, cacat ukuran, dan cacat pada saat proses pemotongan kain. CV. Garmen X saat ini memiliki masalah berupa produk cacat celana jeans yang melebihi batas toleransi sebesar 2% dari total produksi. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk meminimasi produk cacat celana jeans yang melebihi batas toleransi, yaitu Metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Metode ini dapat membantu dalam menentukan prioritas penyebab potential yang kritis berdasarkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN). Hasil dari nilai RPN dapat dijadikan bahan pertimbangan untuk memberikan usulan perbaikan berupa tindakan pencegahan terhadap produk cacat celana jeans.

ABSTRACT

In general company indutry jeans have some obstacles in addresing the product flawed. The product flawed happened, such as a disability materials, defects in the process of tailoring, is flawed size, and defects in the process of cutting the cloth. The company is currently has a problem in the form of a product flawed jeans that beyond its tolerance 2% of total production. One of methode that can be used to reduce the products flawed jeans that beyond its tolerance, which is  Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). This method can help in deciding priority the cause of potential critical based on the value of Risk Priority Number (RPN). The result of the value of the RPN can be used as consideration to give the proposal repair in the form of a precaution against the product flawed jeans.
